FAITH FORMATION INFORMATION

When are classes held?

Grades K to 8 - 8:45-9:45 a.m. followed by 10:00 a.m. mass

When are the first & last classes

Where are classes held?

Classes are held at the Church complex.

How do I register? 

First year registration, please call the Parish Office or Mr. Paul Adam, 766-1558.

Previously registered in the program?  You will receive information about the upcoming year and a registration form or click here for the registration form.

Where do I send registration(s)

• Mail to PO Box 60, Manville, RI  02838 or Drop off at the Parish Office (building behind the church)  Monday - Thursday 12:30pm to 4:30pm

• Registration fee? Please contact the Parish Office

When do children receive First Communion?

In Grade 2.  Attending Grade 1 is part of First Communion Preparation. Also, if not baptized at St. James, we will need a copy of the child's Baptism Certificate.

What grade do students receive the Sacrament of Confirmation?

In Grade 9.  Attending Grade 8 class is part of Confirmation Preparation.

 

Note: All children are expected to attend each and every year (1-8) in order to be eligible for the reception of the Sacraments. However, do not be afraid to call the religious ed office if this has not been the case for your child.
